Our Team

At Thrive Equity Consulting, our team combines expertise, lived experience, and a shared passion for justice to help businesses thrive. With skills spanning business operations, financial management, leadership development, counseling, and digital strategy, we work together to build systems that are equitable, sustainable, and impactful.

Iyeshima Harris, Founder

Iyeshima is an experienced nonprofit leader and advocate in the urban agriculture and food justice movement. Iyeshima launched the company to help strengthen the infrastructure and operations of small nonprofit organizations. Drawing on over 15 years of experience in roles such as program developer, project director, advocacy manager, and co-executive director, she understands the common challenges small businesses face—particularly around management systems, tools, and financial oversight.

With a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology, and an M.S. in Nonprofit Management, Iyeshima is committed to leveraging her education and professional experience to help businesses build clarity, stability, and success through well-structured systems and strategic support.

Malika Christopher, Director of Partnerships

Malika is a daughter of Guyanese immigrants and a Queens native who has dedicated her career to serving communities through various nonprofit roles. Fueled by curiosity and a love for lifelong learning, she earned her BA in Political Science from York College and an MPH from the CUNY School of Public Health. A proud product of public schools, Malika is passionate about creating and sharing experiential learning opportunities, especially for underserved communities. When she’s not advocating for equity or networking, you can find her adding stamps to her passport, curating wellness events, or prioritizing self-care.

Williams Guerrier, MSW

Williams is a dedicated social worker committed to advancing mental health equity through a trauma-informed and culturally responsive framework. He integrates these approaches into Cognitive Behavioral Therapy when working with individuals in counseling, tailoring treatment to meet each client’s unique needs.

Beyond individual counseling, Williams brings extensive experience in community treatment, case management, and group facilitation, empowering individuals and communities impacted by trauma to build resilience, strengthen self-awareness, and reclaim their capacity for healing. His practice is grounded in compassion, advocacy, and collaboration, with a focus on creating safe, empowering spaces where growth and transformation can thrive.

With hands-on experience in Workday, ADP, and Alteryx, Philippe has successfully managed payroll operations for multi-state businesses, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and adherence to complex tax regulations.

Over the course of his career, Philippe has developed advanced Excel and SQL capabilities, leveraging these tools to investigate discrepancies, conduct audits, and design streamlined workflows that improve payroll accuracy and efficiency.
